VINARIJA PAJIC

The wine made from an eponymous French grape variety grown on the slopes of Majevica mountain near Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Once you bring a glass of this wine closer to your nose and mouth, you can instantly feel the prevailing aromas of a banana and citrus fruit.

Grape variety

Chardonnay is a French variety, originally from Burgundy (Central-East France). As assumed the name Chardonnay comes from the name of a Burgundy village Chardonnay. The analysis of this wine showed that this variety had resulted from a natural crossing between Pinot and the old variety Gouais Blanc. It has been well known for its easy adaptation which makes it one of the most cultivated grape varieties in the world.

Tips

Chardonnay produced in our winery should be paired with white fish, crustaceans (shrimps, lobster, crabs), various types of sea shells (scallops, oysters), but also with sea shell pasta dishes, raw vegetables, chicken and turkey.
