Wine experience comes from the eponymous grape variety which has been a leading variety for the production of premium wines for centuries, and as of recently, it has been grown in the area of Brcko District.

Merlot is a variety which has been enchanting red wine lovers ever since the first reference to it back in 1783, as La Merle. This is one of the most important grape varieties of the Bordeaux region. Merlot is such a lush variety that needs to be tamed each year over and over again, whereby leaving just enough quantity of grapevines to be able to ripe in time and just enough time for a grapevine to be ready for the winter.

Our Merlot Barrique should be paired with dark meat (steak, lamb, veal), game dishes and in general, any other dishes containing more aromatic sauce. It also goes well with spicy Chinese food, and hard and soft sheep cheese.
